Excursions are trips outside of the school. These can vary from a few hours up to a maximum of three days. For example, it might be a visit to the Museum of Art “Aros” or the University in Århus, a cultural trip to Copenhagen, or a visit to a company.
Most classes take part in a study-trip lasting a number of days in the course of their time at the school. A study-trip may last a maximum of five weekdays. Everyone in the class has to take part.
Study-trips are an integral part of the teaching of one or more subjects, which have an obligatory programme during these days. Your attendance is therefore compulsory.
